General Information

The HX-80N PIRs are mounted between 2.5 and 3 meter high and provide a narrow volumetric outdoor intrusion detection up to 24m. The HX-80N series is ideal to protect alleyways, areas along fences or the immediate approach to a building. It has been designed to differentiate between human and small to medium sized animals reducing a lot the risk of false alarm. The HX-80NRAM is a battery-powered model with active infrared anti masking. To adapt to the slope of the ground, the HX-80NRAM's bracket can rotate horizontal, 180 degree and can be tilted up or down vertically. With its built-in flaps and plates the HX-80NRAM can easily set up to mask either the longer range or mask shorter ranges and can focus only on the area of interest. If the HX-80NRAM's sensor is sprayed, covered or obstructed while it is armed or disarmed, the active infrared anti-masking will be able to sense the threat when the alarm system is turned on and as a result will send through a notification. The HX-80NRAM can be powered by a variety of universal batteries including CR123, CR2 and 1/2 AA (not included). Its housing can accommodate most wireless radio transmitters available in the market. This makes it a sensor easy to install in remote or temporary locations.
