The external Biometric Reader is also both a Fingerprint Recognition Reader and a RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) proximity reader. The external reader has a pigtail cable for termination. This version of the reader is weather and temperature protected. Always use a screened cable (minimum 6 core 7/0.2 non-twisted) and connect the screen to earth at the controller. Maximum cable distance 50m.
Enrollment
The Progeny fingerprint system keeps two templates available for each user. The use of two fingers per user is not compulsory but it is recommended. There are 1000 slots available (2 fingers per slot), usually for left and right.
Gesture Sensors
Integral gesture sensors allow for optional local administrators to add temporary or visiting users.
