The Verint S2416e-HD network HD analog encoder allows you to connect up to sixteen standard analog or HD analog cameras up to 2MP in resolution and send that video to our EDGE VR. All video is compressed using h.264 which provides superior imagery with optimal bandwidth utilization. This encoder is multiformat and supports the most common HD analog types in the industry including HD-CVI, HD-TVI, AHD and CVBS. Our s2400 series encoders have a variety of uses and they work great for existing sites that already have analog cameras but want to upgrade the resolution and image quality of some or all of their existing cameras without the hastle and expense of pulling new network cable or understanding networking like what is needed for IP Cameras. Simply add an encoder on the EDGE VR and swap out the old camera with an HD analog camera for a superior high resolution image.Most importantly the S2416e-HD is fully integrated into our Verint EdgeVR platform making it easy to configure, use and maintain over its life. The smooth and seamless integration provides solid reliable performance and with our optional Verint Op Center software, features like Central Remote Password and Firmware Update are a snap.
